NOTICE AND UPDATE :  ASUO Student Legal Services has observed best practices for safety precautions in providing professional legal help to UO students since the onset of the COVID-19 health crisis.  

The Student Legal Services office, housed in the EMU, continues to fully serve UO students via remote appointments. ASUO SLS can help you with almost any kind of legal issue. 

The office is open and accessible to all currently registered UO students for legal help with landlord/tenant, criminal and traffic (including issues stemming from protests), family law, employment, injury accidents, and many other legal problems.  For a remote appointment call (541) 346-4273 for assistance, and leave a clear message (name, phone number, and nature of your problem) or Contact us through this website at . We’ll return your message promptly.  

Notary services are also available by appointment only, subject to safety restrictions.

Since the early 1970s,  ASUO Student Legal Services has proudly provided legal services and promoted awareness of the law for the students of the University of Oregon.
